Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Naomi vs. Chelsea Green
We see Naomi and Bianca Belair walking and talking backstage, and then the show heads into the first commercial break of the evening. When the show returns, we see Tama Tonga asking a production member where Solo Sikoa is. He doesn’t know. He walks off, but Jacob Fatu appears out of nowhere and runs through the production member.
Back inside the arena, Belair and Naomi have settled inside the ring. Before anything else, however, Wade Barrett is standing by at ringside with WWE Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus. He asks for her thoughts on the Elimination Chamber coming to her town of Toronto, and if we can expect an appearance from her.
Stratus says she’s excited about it and yes, because it’s in her hometown, she’ll be there. She says the only question is in what capacity. Chelsea Green’s theme then hits to interrupt her and out comes the WWE Women’s United States Champion with her secret her-vice — Piper Niven.
It’s time for the first match of the evening, which is a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The bell sounds and they charge at each other, with Naomi surprising her with a roll-up attempt. Green kicks out. Green ends up taking over on offense and as things spill out to the floor, the show heads into a mid-match commercial break.
When the show returns, Green is still in control of the offense. This doesn’t last for long, however, as Naomi starts to fight from underneath back into competitive form. Ultimately, she takes over and finishes the Women’s U.S. Champion off for the victory. With the win, she fills one of the last two spots in the Women’s Chamber.
